A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter from the 1-228th Aviation Regiment takes off from Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras with a Bambi Bucket attached to fight a fire on a mountain ridge in Comayagua, Honduras. The fire posed a threat to destroy homes and to cut off an access road to a local village. Within one hour of receiving the call, the helicopters dumped about 6,180 gallons of water on the blaze to alleviate the danger. (Photo by U.S. Air National Guard Capt. Steven Stubbs)
