Service members with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron get weapons for a bivouac and hike that took place aboard Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, March 27 - 28, 2014. The evolution gave members of the squadron a chance to practice patrolling techniques, re-familiarize themselves with crew-served weapons and learn call-to-fire procedures. Participants awoke early the day after the bivouac to conduct a 10-kilometer hike in fire teams, ending with a warrior's breakfast at the southside chowhall.
