Staff Sgt. Jeongeun Yoo, 88th Regional Support Command Strong Bonds program specialist, hands a book on the five love languages to Eve Greenman during a during a Strong Bonds event in Portland, Ore., April 5. Eve and her husband Cpl. Michael Greenman, of the 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, have been married for two years, but have known each other for 22 years. Eve said in that time they had developed a very strong friendship and were gratified by the program’s emphasis on that aspect of relationships. “One thing that it really enforces is friendship,” said Eve. “You have to have that in a relationship otherwise you don’t have all that special stuff. It’s not just about being married, it’s about being friends – that’s what’s important.”
