Jose Fragoso, the senior noncommissioned officer of the 2nd “Lancer” Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st “Ironhorse” Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, respectfully awaits for the memorial ceremony at the 1st Cavalry Division Memorial April 5, at Fort Hood, Texas. The ceremony, hosted by the Lancer Battalion, honored the eight Soldiers who died during the Siege of Sadr City, Iraq, on April 4, 2004, and throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom Two.
