South Carolina National Guard Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 263rd Air Defense Artillery, fired shoulder-mounted Stinger missiles and Avenger Missile Systems during a live-fire exercise held April 5-9 at Fort Bliss, Texas. The 263rd Army Air and Missile Defense Command and 2nd Battalion, 263rd ADA, both from Anderson, S.C., trained together in preparation for deployment to the National Capital Region.
