Polish air force Airman Adrian Chorwat, flight line electrician, helps construct a centerline for an 8,000-foot grass-landing zone during an aviation detachment rotation on Powidz Air Base, Poland, April 7, 2014. Landing zones provide a safe area on unimproved surfaces for aircraft to land when there is no established runway.
