U.S. Army Maj. Maria Etchepare, left, and Canadian Capt. Etchepare is deployed from the 349th Combat Support Hospital, a Reserve unit in Los Angeles, Calif., and Johnson is deployed from Quebec, Canada. The care was provided as part of a medical training exercise, or MEDRETE, that offers U.S. and Canadian military doctors and nurses the opportunity to train and interact with their Belizean counterparts.
