Brig. Gen. Larry D. Nicholson congratulates his aide-de-camp, 1st Lt. George A. Saenz Jr., on the younger Marine's receipt of the Combat Engineer Officer of the Year Award from the Marine Corps Engineer Association, Oct. 28, 2008. Saenz received the award for his accomplishments during his 2007 deployment to Iraq's Al Anbar province where he served as the Route Clearance Officer for Regimental Combat Team 6.
