Students of Mt. Juliet Middle School Military School Club and staff celebrated Purple Up Day, a campaign created by Operation Military Kids to recognize the service of our nation's military children. Tennessee Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Max Haston paid a visit to the students to express his gratitude for military children and youth. Mt. Juliet's Military School Club is facilitated by Mt. Juliet Middle School and the Tennessee National Guard Child and Youth Services. It is the only group of its kind in Tennessee's school systems, providing support and camaraderie to its military-affiliated students.
