Nicholas Orr, an infantryman assigned to India Company, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, uses an M16A4 rifle to engage mock opposing forces at Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz., April 8, 2014, while conducting a simulated raid as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 2-14. The Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course, hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron (MAWTS) 1, is designed to teach the six functions of Marine Corps aviation while providing the closest experience to real combat strategy, tactics and execution.
