Marines with Alpha Company, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion run with their guidon for the R.A.C.E for Suicide Awareness held at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC, April 16, 2014. The relay lasted 24 hours, and was focused on building unit cohesion, and increasing awareness of suicide prevention in order to maintain mission readiness, enhance unit camaraderie and cohesion, and heighten force preservation.
