U.S. Marines receive a brief from a Republic of Korea soldier on the history of the North Korean infiltration tunnels April 8 during a Demilitarized Zone tour in the ROK. The first of these tunnels was discovered in November of 1974, and since then three more were discovered to have all crossed the DMZ in a North to South direction as a means to sneak North Korean troops into the ROK. The U.S. Marines are with various units under III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Cedric R. Haller II/RELEASED)
