An Apache attack helicopter from the Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, soars over Iraqi deserts while conducting an escort mission well north of Baghdad, Nov. 5, 2008. Aside from the helicopter's attack and reconnaissance capabilities, the Apache is also routinely used to provide security for other aircraft traveling throughout Iraq.
