After more than six decades after being removed during the Korean War, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) repatriated Friday nine royal seals of the Korean Empire and Joseon Dynasty in Seoul, South Korea during U.S. President Barack Obama’s visit to the nation. This is the April 17 signing of the hold harmless agreement between HSI Attaché Seoul Taekuk Cho and Sun-hwa Rha, Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA), which paved the way for the return of the seals.
