A crane operator from P&S Construction begins the demolition process on former barracks building 447 at Naval Submarine Base New London. The demolition of this building as well as others are part of the Navy's Shore Vision 2035, in which the Navy will reduce base infrastructure by reusing land in which unneeded buildings are now on. This will restructure naval bases to meet the ever-changing needs of the Navy, reduce costs and decrease the Navy's infrastructure footprint.
