Warrant Officer Simon Roquillo, tactical patrol officer assigned to the Alpha 2/43, hands the DLT antenna from an engagement control center to Specialist Cristian Montanez, patriot enhancer assigned to Alpha 2/43, in preparation to marching orders Oct. 6, 2008 at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. These Alpha 2/43 members are responsible for effectively providing communication so they can have a clear situational awareness. Warrant Officer Roquillo, a native of New Orleans, La., and Specialist Montanez, a native of Maraquez, Puerto Rico, is deployed from Fort Bliss, Texas, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
