1st Sgt. Rakimm Broadnax-Rogers, Company C, 4th Support Battalion, serves as the only female first sergeant currently serving the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, at Forward Operating Base Falcon in southern Baghdad's Rashid District. Rogers, a native of Montgomery, Ala., held many different duty positions throughout her 16-year U.S. Army career including battle staff non-commissioned officer and anti-terrorism program manager. Rogers is a 2001 graduate of Columbia Southern University with a degree in business and plans to complete her master's degree in health care administration upon redeployment.
