Airman 1st Class Thomas Shultz watches a line of Iraqis move through security to process on to Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Nov. 6, 2008. Shultz, a security forces journeyman assigned to the 532nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, ensures that procedures are maintained and the entrants remains orderly. Iraqis who work on the base here must pass through increasing layers of security before entering. Schultz is deployed from the 37th Security Forces Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and is a native of Copperas Cove, Texas.
