Sgt. Blake A. Wallace, left, Cpl. James A. Kasper, center, and Lance Cpl. Steward M. Bach stand at attention after being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal April 25 at Camp Hansen. The Marines were recognized for meritorious actions that saved the life of a fellow Marine, who suffered a heart attack. During the ordeal, the Marines performed CPR and additional emergency techniques they learned throughout their Marine Corps training. Wallace and Bach are fire support men, and Kasper is a field artillery fire control man. All three are with Headquarters Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Matt Myers/Released)
