Sheik Ahmed Al- Samarra'i, the leader of the Sunni endowment, and his party are swarmed by media members as they walk towards the center of the Al-Aimma Bridge that links the Adhamiyah and Kadhamiyah Districts of Baghdad, Nov. 11. Samarra'i was met in the middle of the bridge by Sheik Saleh Al-Haidari, the leader of the Shia endowment, as the two leaders met to celebrate the bridge's opening. The bridge, which links the two districts, had been closed for three years after approximately 1,000 people died in a stampede there, Aug. 31, 2005.
