Capt. Scott Crowell, an F-15E Strike Eagle pilot, gives a briefing on the F-15E's capabilities to Pennsylvania Army National Guard Soldiers during a recent visit to Bagram's fighter squadrons. Members from the F-15E Strike Eagle and A-10 Thunderbolt II squadrons hosted the visit after the Soldiers had expressed a desire to personally thank pilots who protect ground forces with close-air support while engaged in fire-fights with enemy forces.
