Aviation Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Michael Allen, a landing signal enlisted, launches an Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to Alpha Company Four, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) during deck landing qualifications aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5).
