Specially trained role-players were positioned inside of the wreckage site that was used for the Homeland Response Force (HRF) training exercise here from April 28 to May 2, 2014. Role-players wear special makeup used to simulate the types of injuries that a HRF responder might see in the case of a disaster where chemical, nuclear, biological or radioactive materials might be present.(New York Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
