A squad assigned to 1st Battalion, 157th Infantry Regiment, Colorado Army National Guard, moves to the nearest wood line at Fort Carson after getting flown to the landing zone by a UH-60 Black Hawk. The Infantrymen were air lifted by 2nd Battalion, 135th Aviation as part of their air assault training. After arriving at the landing zone, the infantrymen oriented themselves to the land by using a map and then ruck marched approximately four miles to their final objective in Colorado's snow.
