Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Rick D. West talks with Lt. Cmdr. Ross Mackenzie about "My Sailor Dad" during a visit to Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command, in Norfolk, Va., Dec. 14, 2009. The book was written by Mackenzie to help children adjust to parents deploying. During his visit, the MCPON spoke with members of the command and held an all-hands call to discuss issues affecting Reservists throughout the fleet.
