Members of the Provincial Reconstruction Team and representatives of United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, visit the Northwest palace in the ancient city of Calah, which is now known as Nimrud, Iraq, Nov. 19. Nimrud is in consideration to become a protected World Heritage site. UNESCO works to create the conditions for genuine dialogue based upon respect for shared values and the dignity of each civilization and culture.
