A North Carolina National Guard AH-64 Apache attack helicopter provides close air support and security for air assault training at Operation Snowbird, a North Carolina National Guard exercise in the Great Smoky Mountains near Bryson City, N.C., April 21-25, 2014. The exercise combined the firepower and flexibility of NCNG Apache helicopters with NCNG Black Hawk helicopters and S.C. Air National Guard F-16 fighters.
