PAKTIA PROVINCE, Afghanistan (May 1, 2014)--Spartan Soldiers of Bandit Troop, 3rd Squadron 71st Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) man positions to control access to a helicopter landing zone May 4, during their unit’s mission of providing security for a joint Afghan and U.S. Forces security meeting in the Chamkani district of Paktia Province in Afghanistan.
