Two Iraqi ambulances carrying medical supplies are searched as they enter the checkpoint to Tal Afar, Iraq. The ambulances will bring aid to the residents of Tal Afar who are returning to their homes after terrorist attacks and increased fighting forced them to leave the city. On September 14, local government officials declared it safe for residents to return to the city, which is now secured by Iraqi security forces. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Blair Larson)
