Spartan Soldiers with the 3rd Squadron 71st Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) establish a temporary command post May 4, during their unit’s mission of providing security for a joint Afghan and U.S. Forces security meeting in the Chamkani district of Paktia province in Afghanistan.
