An Airman from the 22nd Maintenance Squadron jet propulsion shop cleans an engine blade from a KC-135 Stratotanker, May 5, 2014, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Each part of the engine must be inspected, cleaned and, if necessary, replaced during periodic inspections.
