Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, commanding general of Multi-National Division - Baghdad and the 4th Infantry Division, shakes the hand of Sgt. John Halcrow, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, MND-B, after presenting him the Bronze Star Medal with "V" device for valor on Nov. 26 at Forward Operating Base SUJ. Hammond also presented a Bronze Star with "V" device to Capt. Clinton Brooks, the commander of Co. B, and the Army Commendation Medal to Spc. Luis Cobos, Sgt. Gjamale Kavier, Sgt. Murray Spence and Sgt Nickolas Workman. The men were involved in a 45-minute firefight with approximately 150 enemy fighters following a blast from an explosively formed penetrator on March 30.
