Sgt. James Hilyer, 177th Armored Brigade operation sergeant, demonstrates how the "Super Army Machine," better known as SAM, is operated by using a hand held remote control. SAM is a fairly new invention introduced to the military by an independent inventor, Sam Albritton, from Lumberton, Miss. The SAM Machine was invented to haul five times more razor wire and can distribute 700 ft. of wire in just three minutes. Soldiers like Sgt. Hilyer were impressed with the durability and safety features of the SAM.
