Mollie Gross, author and featured performer for a Military Spouse Appreciation Night animatedly recalls experiencing “bat wings,” the movement of loose arm skin while putting her hands up on a roller coaster, during her performance at the Bob Hope Theater aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., May 9. Gross authored the book “Confessions of a Marine Wife,” drawing her inspiration from the military lifestyle she inherited when she married an infantryman stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. The event, hosted by Marine Corps Community Services, featured pampering and entertainment provided by local companies to honor the sacrifice of the silent ranks of the air station and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing: military spouses.
