An MH-60S Knighthawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 (HSC-23) lifts cargo from the USNS Yukon (T-AO-202) to be transported to the USS Makin Island as part of a re-supply during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of San Diego, May 12, 2014. The 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5 team conduct COMPTUEX to hone mission essential tasks, execute specified MEU and ARG operations, and establish the foundation for a cohesive war fighting team for future exercises and operations.
