Stonestreet demonstrates to community members how to operate an M777A2 lightweight 155 mm howitzer May 10 during Fuji Friendship Festival 2014 at Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji, Marine Corps Installations Pacific. “I think by opening the gate, both sides have an opportunity to better understand each other through this festival,” said Kenji Mitsuhashi, a festival attendee. “It’s good to see Japanese and Americans having fun together. I really enjoy this festival.” Stonestreet is a motor vehicle operator with 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, currently stationed on Okinawa under the unit deployment program.
