The 4th Infantry Division band plays a Christmas melody during the video teleconference with friends and family members from Central Texas Dec. 5. Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, the commanding general of Multi-National Division – Baghdad and the 4th Inf. Div., and Command Sgt. Maj. John Gioia, the senior enlisted leader for the 4th Inf. Div., discussed the progress of the mission with the guests during a luncheon back at Fort Hood. Hammond stated that the people of Central Texas are the best people because they didn't want anything but to give their support to the Soldiers deployed to Baghdad.
