The TACAMO unit's technicians use an Army system called the Joint Airborne Communication Suite to ensure communications in areas where radio transmissions are most difficult. Petty Officer Ramsay is a native of Jerseyville, Ill., and is deployed from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., in support of operations Iraqi and enduring freedom.
