Dr. Karl Roider, alumni professor at Louisiana State University, teaches a class to members of Operations Group at Fort Polk May 9. The purpose of the class was to discuss Eastern and Western European history, culture and their impact to current international politics. Roider along with his colleagues from Louisiana State University, Drs. Stanley E. Hilton and William A. Clark, received the Commander's Award for Public Service for their commitment and dedication to the Master of Arts in liberal arts program at Fort Polk.
