Tech. Sgt. Jerrod Selman walks the line, Dec. 5. Walking the line is when two personnel walk up and down a fuel line and performs visual inspections. The Airman looks for breaks in the line, leaks and possible problems at the coupling area. Sgt. Selman was STEP promoted to Technical Sergeant today. A STEP promotion is a Stripe for Exceptional Performers in the Air Force. Sgt. Selman was able to share this event with a video teleconference with his family and home unit Squadron Commander. Sgt. Selman is deployed from the 18th LRS Kadena Air Base, Japan, his hometown is Laplace, La.
