The Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon extends fuel hoses to the USS San Diego as part of an underway replenishment exercise conducted during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of San Diego, May 12, 2014. COMPTUEX provides the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, along with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, the opportunity to conduct command and control of amphibious operations from the sea.
