Deputy Commander for Navy Medicine West, Rear Adm. Victor Hall speaks with an Army Specialist about the joint efforts of Operation Northern Lights on Forward Operating Base Liberty. The aircraft is a vital part of battlefield medicine, as it is used to transport casualties to field medical centers. Operation Northern Lights is an annual Navy Reserve medical training exercise hosted here by the Expeditionary Medical Facility Great Lakes One based out of Great Lakes, Ill.
