The Afghan national army air corps received three Mi-17 helicopters, like this one taking off on a mission from Kabul. The new helicopters were refurbished in the Chech Republic and transported here in a contracted AH-124 Russian transport. The three helicopters will add to the ANAAC fleet and help the air corps increase their missions supporting the Afghan national army. The ANAAC is being mentored by Airman from the 438th Air Expeditionary Wing.
