Capt. Aaron Wargo, pilot assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, works his way through pre-flight checklists from the copilot seat in the cockpit of a B-1 at an undisclosed base in Southwest Asia, Dec. 9. A pre-flight crew prepares the aircraft for flight in order to allow the crew actually flying to maximize their available flight time. Capt. Wargo hails from Garden Grove, Calif., and is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D.
