Lt. Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, commanding general, Multi-National Corps – Iraq, visits with members of the 1st Battalion, 68th Infantry Regiment at Combat Outpost War Eagle, Dec. 11. Austin visited to observe the progress made in Adhamiyah over the last few months. He stopped at the local sports complex, which is currently undergoing extensive renovations, and Joint Security Station Adhamiyah where he took time to recognize the efforts of Iraqi and coalition forces there.
