The Nashville Sounds hosted a Veteran and Surviving Military Game on Sunday, May 18. The Sounds honored Gold Star families before the game on the field. Amber Diaz's husband, Army Cpl. Isaac Diaz, was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2004. Her son, Aaron Diaz, was only three years old when his father passed. Aaron threw out the first pitch of the game in honor of his father.
