During their sixth mission, the General Transport Regiment uploads one of 20 tracked vehicles on a Heavy Equipment Transporter trailer. The tracked vehicles were transported from the coalition side of Taji to the Taji National Maintenance Depot. Established only three months ago, the GTR has made significant progress with the assistance of the 68th Transportation Company, 165th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade. The 68th Trans Co. has trained and mentored their Iraqi army counterparts on conducting convoy and logistical operations.
