Sgt. 1st Class Norma Christensen, a solider with the 152nd Theater Information Operations Group in California, is presented a rose during a celebration for Mother's Day May 10, 2014 at the Second Infantry Brigade base of the National Army of Guatemala. The governor hosted the celebration, and the mothers invited included mothers of the Guatemalan soldiers, Guatemalan soldiers themselves, and American mothers stationed at the base in support of Beyond the Horizon 2014 - Guatemala. "As soldiers we miss a lot of holidays, birthdays and special events back home while we are deployed around the world," commented Col. John Findley, Task Force Oso commander.
