Spc. Tommy Franks, of Norman, Okla., moves toward cover during a firefight in a town at Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, on May 26, 2014. Franks, a medic with the 364th Sapper Company and attached to the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, acted as a member of the oppositional forces (OPFOR) during Combined Resolve II, a U.S. Army Europe-led multinational exercise including more than 4,000 participants from the U.S. and 14 European countries.
