Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 take defensive fighting positions to protect the NMCB 5 camp during field training exercise Operation Bearing Duel. The exercise is conducted to ensure maximum effectiveness and to test unit readiness before a deployment supporting contingency operations. NMCB 5 is engaged in an aggressive homeport training cycle in preparation for their upcoming deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
